Association of Women Solicitors Returner Course

The AWS Returner Course has run annually for over 30 years and is widely acknowledged as the leader in its field. The course aims to assist solicitors, both men and women, who have been on a career break or seek a career change.

The AWS Returner Course is an intensive programme of lectures and workshops with speakers who are recognised as experts in their subjects. In 2010 the course runs over 2 days and the programme includes an analysis of the current job market together with sessions on the challenges of returning to the workplace, an application and selection workshop, career options, professional requirements for returners and updates on employment law and civil litigation.

Both the structure and ethos of the course offer extensive opportunities for networking and interacting with lecturers and fellow delegates in a supportive and informal environment.
