The national committee consists of the executive committee plus the following:
Mags Grundy has been a member of the AWS since qualifying as a solicitor in 2004. She is keen to promote and support the interests of women solicitors in the south west.
Mags is an associate in the wills, trusts and probate department of Bush & Bush solicitors. She is a member of the Probate Section, Solicitors for the Elderly and a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Before qualifying as a solicitor, Mags was awarded an MSc in Women’s Studies from Bristol University whilst working as a legal secretary for Bush & Bush. The firm supported Mags through her conversion course, took her on as a trainee then employed her on qualification.
Outside law, Mags plays guitar, having been a member of a band that released 3 singles and played gigs throughout the UK. If she had not been a solicitor, Mags would have become a clothes designer. She hopes to pursue this passion when she retires to rural France following a highly successful (and lucrative) legal career!
